History is the evidence that every devastated samaj is brought up not by the government but by help, support and cooperation of each other. the greatest example to these are the sindhi samaj.

I’ll be happy to make a request to them on behalf of our community to give jobs to our people. But I must bring to your notice that without the help from the Government we can not do much and also how many Business men can provide jobs to millions of people? And providing few jobs is it enough? We are saying to fight for our rights means... We want our community to become stronger, healthier, educated, and able to make the right decisions for them selves and their families. the other castes such as Chamar-jatav - balmikis showing that they are the only major castes in SC communities and they have taken most of share of Dhanak samaj in the Politics - Govt. jobs and Government's Financial schemes for SC’s...so that’s why we are very much left behind... It will be really good if we can find any businessmen of our community and he is ready to help in this connection. Aur fir aaz har padhe likhe nozwan ka sapna hai ki wo bhi IAS-IPS-IFS bane ya police kee achhi service ya administration me zaye.We want our people to have long term gains not just temporary fulfillment of a better life.

Anyone who is reading this is now on the right webpage. U must be having flames in ur heart about the betrayal and injustice occurred to our community. Now it’s the time when we all should AWAKE RISE &FIGHT FOR ALL WHAT WE DESERVE IN SOCIETY. Identify the power in yourself and give it a direction. We are no less than anybody.
MY SUGGESTION TO ALL COMUNITY MEMBERS IS
1. BE UNITED (whether educated or uneducated, just feel the manpower and number of people)
2. START EDUCATING your CHILD (because education is he key to know the world outside this barrier of society.)
3. BE PHYSICALLY STRONG (equally important as education.)
4. START BEING A POLLITICAL POWER (Because powerful community is powerful only when its strong politically.)

I appreciate what all users have said about our caste but now a days i have seen so many people belonging to dhanka caste are working hard. educated and successful. its only our feeling which makes us down. please dont let over come your minds. now our future is in very high level. every children of our caste are studying, getting their education not only till ssc but to most highest qualification. in my family there doctors, engineers, judge, police officers, central employes, scientists etc... please do not express what about how are living up.. encourage others and let our children grow up and they get bright future.... i only advice to support each other and encourage our family to grow more....

i am Naresh from Patna. i am M.Com and still unemployed...i tried so many times for Govt job and also passed but in interview even it was very good i got fail... only because in Sc category they are taking Chamars only.... we dont have any source of approach who can help us..thats why we are failing most of the times..i Also passed for IAS..but in interview...same..failed...so..i request you all to unite all so that we can also get our share from govt and can come in Govt. services...Mr. Yogesh is doing good job for dhanak community..Nobody has done so far...Good luck Yogesh ji...i personally meet you when ill come in Delhi....

mera yahi bolna hai ki phir bhi hum log ki koi bat koi nahin sunta. Like agar app ko koi mar bhi dega or police ke pass jao to lastly police unihin ki sunti hai jis ne aap ko pareshan kiya hamari koi bhi nahin sunta kyonki unke source itne hote hain ki sachhai ko koi sunne bala nahin hota.

To iske liye koi upay kiya jai to bahut thik hoga.

Maph kariyega agar is block main kuchh galat likha ho to.

I request to Govt of India ,please allow our Dhanak samaj to make a seperate Dhanak Regiment in defence(ARMY) job,like other caste having, for example Rajput regiment,Jat Regiment and Ghorkha Regiment ect. Respected Mr. Kirar..i am from Alwar.. i belongs to Dhanka community...i tried on internet about dhanak dhanka dhanuk communities....i saw some is promoting on their website dhanka and some is promoting dhanuk..no one taking name of dhanak dhanuk dhanka all together...but only your website is promoting Dhanak Dhanuk and Dhanka...i know Dhanak is in All India,,,,,Dhanuk is in Uttar pradesh,,,Dhanka is in Rajsthan and Dhankia is in Bihar..but the all are same and their Surname are same...so why to fight for small small thing...I say to all of them..."Just think Big"

धानक समाज एक छोटा सा जातिय समहू है जो की राजस्थान पंजाब हरियाणा उ प , मप व् गुजरात राज्यों मे निवास करता, धानक समाज के अपने ५२ गोतर है जो की निम्न प्रकार है खटक सोलंकी नागर निनानिया भसोड़ इंदौरा आदि आदि . इस जाति का मुख्य व्यवसाय कपडा बुनना मतलब खढी का काम करना था जो की नाम से ही पता चलता है( धा - धागा, न - नाका, क - काम) अर्थ है ( सुई धागे का काम करने वाले ) जो की अब पूर्णतया लुप्त हो चूका , समाज मे धानक जाती को अनुसूचित जाती का दर्जा प्राप्त है धानक जाती को जुलाहा भी कहा जा सकता है धानक जाति संत कबीर दस को अपना गुरु मानती है धानक जाती उन सभी देवी देवताओ को मानती है जिनकी की पूजा हर जाति मे की जाती है मगर अफ़सोस इस बात का है की धानक जाति के लोग अब भी भुत प्रेतों व बलि प्रथा मे विस्वास करती है जो की सही नही है धानक जाति का पहले की अपेक्षा खासा विकास हुआ है धानक जाति के युवा आईएएस व् राजनैतिक रूप से काफी स्ट्रांग सुदृढ़ सिथति मे आये है काफी लोग डॉ इंजीनियर के पदो पर कार्यरत है तो बहुत बड़ा हì

The son of a mason father and labourer mother grows up doing child labour. Then, he sets up an informal school to earn his livelihood. He runs the school during the day and attends college classes in the evening. He becomes a university professor, and eventually a Vice-Chancellor (VC).
This is not a movie script, but the real-life story of Dr Vijay Kumar Kayat, a professor of history at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) here, who has been appointed the VC of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa.
“Yes, I used to work as labourer at a mandi along with my mother and maternal uncles when I was 13. My father used to work as construction mason. After completing my matriculation, I set up an informal preparatory school to earn my livelihood. I ran the school during the day and attended an evening college, where I pursued my graduation,” Dr Kayat told The Tribune.
While pursuing his PhD at MDU, he formed a Dalit students’ organisation and played an instrumental role in implementation of the reservation system in the appointment of faculty members at the university.
Dr Kayat, who comes from a Dalit family, remained a social activist and set up the Upekshit Samaj Party, a political outfit. He had contested the parliamentary election once. “Dr BR Ambedkar had stated that political power holds the key to all social progress. I always wanted to uplift the downtrodden and learnt a lot through my exposure to politics,” maintained Dr Kayat, who had been the chairman of Dr BR Ambedkar Chair at the MDU.
He was felicitated by the MDU authorities for his notable contribution to academics and had several research publications, including two books, to his credit.
He asserted that promoting study programmes in social sciences as well as languages and linguistics, along with information technology, technical and professional courses, would be his top priorities.
The sound knowledge of social sciences, including history, sociology and psychology, was a must to ensure a better understanding of human traits and behaviour and check the deterioration of moral values, he said.
“Upgrading university infrastructure, including laboratory equipment and hostel buildings, with the help of Central funds available for the purpose will be my immediate concerns,” the VC added.

GREAT DHANUSHKA KSHTRIYA COMMUNITY ZINDABAD

The Dhanuks, who are settled in the Terai districts of Saptari, Siraha and Dhanusa, are either backwards or a minority indigenous people. Dhanuks are called Rajbanshis. The Dhanuks of eastern Terai are called Kurmi and Patel in the Western Terai. There are Dhanuk called Mandal or Rajvansi living in Eastern part of Nepal. Different types/groups of Dhanuk lives in Nepal. They are extended all over country from Eastern Terai to Western hills. Among them, the Dhanuks of hilly region in far western are considered as a kshetris, whose were believed to originated from Bhatt Brahmin of Doti rajya, Ugratara temple. One brother of brahman was believed to given titled kshetri by Kalu Shahi the king of Doti Rajya at that time as he protect the king from Muslim who attack the Doti kingdom. It is also believed that that Brahmin used his tantrik knowledge and bravery to protect his religion and kingdom. These people have a history of about 200 years being called Dhanuk. The people of these group follow the rituals like other kshetris of that areas. Dhanuk caste is considered as a prominent caste of Bihar. They are also found in the adjoining state of Jharkhand. Dhanuk caste is mainly the caste of agriculturists. The name of Dhanuk caste is derived from the Sanskrit term 'dhanuska', which means an archer. This caste of India is regarded as an ancient one because reference of its origin can also be found in Padma Purana. Scholars are of the opinion that formerly, Dhanuks were actively a part of the militia of the country. The Dhanuks are minority indigenous people and they are also known as Rajbanshis.
In my views, history says that Dhanushka and its sub castes are Rajpoot/Khastriya community, then why some people of this caste shows themselves as backwards availed facilities of reservation. Is it not a shame for this Rajpoot/Khastriya community. We should present ourselves as General Category Community and favour for reservation on economic base. Who are well settled at present they should present themselves as Khastriya. People who are using bad word for our community, not bigger than our Ved-Puran in which the actual history of Dhnushka kshtriya community is mentioned. I condemn these type of literature and their writers. All my community brothers/sisters should come together for development and to present the actual position of ourselves to the Indian Society.

I appreciate what all users have said about our caste but now a days i have seen that Dhanuks of eastern Terai are called Kurmi and Patel in the Western Terai. There are Dhanuk called Mandal or Rajvansi living in Eastern part of Nepal. Among them, the Dhanuks of hilly region in far western are considered as a Kshtriya Community.
first of all we should present ourselves as a kshtriya. Our samaj is like a Lion, and lion never eat grass even he is too much hungry and near to die. Caste based reservation is not only solution to progress. Its creating shameful situation to our people. People of our society are changing their surnames like Khanangwal to Khanna, surlia to solanki, ninania to nirwan etc. because the are facing lot of problems in the society. We are pure kshriyas but due to caste based reservation we are unable to show ourselves as rajpoot community. People of upper communities are laughing on us. We are OBC in some states. Atleast we should work to get OBC status in all over India and name our samaj should be DHANUSHA OR DHANUSHKA as mentioned in Ved/purans. Biradari is like our mother and we know our biradari maa is a queen and not Acchoot/harijan/SC/ST as history says. Please try to give the one name to all dhanak samaj (Dhanuk, Dhanka, dhanak etc). One name Dhanak so its creat a unity to all dhanak samaj.

First of All Thank you for creating this.
I am from haryana. I always feel it that no any orgnaisation of our samaj is available but when i see this i feel very happy. Its really our samaj are very poor till now. I request you to please give the publicity of this Dhanak Samaj in all satate. Pse. take meeting of dhanak samaj in haryana also, here is no awareness about it. thanks a lot

Well said Krishan... But nobody wahts to accept other name .. Delhi haryana panjab-Dhanak... Rajasthan-Dhanka.. UP Bihar -dhanuk... Etc...They all have same gotras and also doing marriages with each others but when name comes they are ready to fight.. Especially Rahasthani Dhankas..

Dear Kirar sahib. I am kuldeep,wkg.as Asst.Sig.& Tele.engr.in Rlys.at Amritsar. I was not aware of this blog. Today just I read it and happy to see various our brothers & sisters are proud to comments. Yesterday I went to Lehtara a birth place of Sant Kabir at Banaras but I didn't found any person of our community near to that temple. Is it correct Sant Kabir ji is our Guru like Chamar's having bhakt Ravi dass ji. I want to trace Dhanak families at Banaras. I have very much interested to extend communication between our community. I am here for deputation for doubling of railway line between Banaras to Alahabad route.

Sabhi dhanuk ,dhanak ,aur dhanka Bhai bahno KO prem bhari hardik subhkamnaye ki aap log isi prakar se aage badhkar apne samaj ka naam raushan karte rhen sath hi hamare samaj ke garib bachhon KO aage badhane mein aap logon ki aham bhagidari hogi is baat se kabhi bhi najren na churayen kyonki aap log dhanuk samaj ke safal chehre hain kahin bhi rhen apne samaj ke logon ki madad Karen axar dekha jata hai ki nichle tabke ke log jab aage badhte hain tab unke vyavhar mein parivartan aa jata hai aur vah samanya jati ki tarah bartao karne lagte hai aap sabhi logon se nivedan hai ki aap log aaisa nhi karenge meri in baton se yadi kisi bhi Bhai bahno KO chot pahunche toh main iske liye kshama chahta hun
